I passionately believe in the importance of using an individualized “bottom-up” approach to appropriately address our students’ challenges from the source so that we can create lasting change and help each of our students to develop and reach their maximal potential.
After getting my Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, I chose to specialize in the field of pediatrics. I am a certified ILS provider and have trained in a variety of reflex integration approaches, including the INPP and Rhythmic Movement methods, and handwriting programs such as, Handwriting Without Tears and the Size Matters Handwriting Program. I love to learn and continually attend various continuing education conferences to remain up to date on newly evolving research-based treatment methods and protocols which can help us to best address the needs of our students.
At Gesher Yehuda Yeshiva, we work with children with learning differences — bright children who struggle in a mainstream setting. We offer small, structured learning environments designed to meet individual needs. We are an academic program with highly trained special education teachers and therapists. Since 1994, our alumni have gone on to college, careers, and successful lives. All students deserve the education that best fits their needs.
