Miss Rachel Ginsberg
I have been in Gesher Yehuda for 20 years. In my time here, I’ve taught a variety of subjects, including Hebrew, Chumash, Keriah, and all the English subjects. My goal is to help my students realize their maximum potential.
Some students find it difficult and tedious to sit still, focus, and learn for hours. Learning should be engaging and interactive. My goal is to tap into each student’s innate curiosity to help them hone their critical thinking skills.
Studies show that using all five senses: taste, touch, sight, sound, and smell, as much as possible helps students learn and retain information. For this reason, I put effort into making hands-on lessons for each subject.
It is important for children to feel they are in a safe environment where they can thrive. That environment is Gesher Yehuda.
At Gesher Yehuda Yeshiva, we work with children with learning differences — bright children who struggle in a mainstream setting. We offer small, structured learning environments designed to meet individual needs. We are an academic program with highly trained special education teachers and therapists. Since 1994, our alumni have gone on to college, careers, and successful lives. All students deserve the education that best fits their needs.
