Mrs. Devorah Roth
As Hebrew Educational Director, I research, develop, and evaluate curricula and choose educational materials and programs that best suit the needs of our students. I work closely with school administrators and other senior staff to design various educational programs. I am always looking for techniques and materials that can work for our students.
Nothing teaches a teacher like a classroom. After 30 years of classroom experience, and professional development training programs, I stepped into the role of Hebrew Educational Director. It’s such a benefit to our children, many with language challenges, to discover that they can master English and Lashon Kodesh. They have the tools to succeed in an increasingly globalized world.
At Gesher Yehuda Yeshiva, we work with children with learning differences — bright children who struggle in a mainstream setting. We offer small, structured learning environments designed to meet individual needs. We are an academic program with highly trained special education teachers and therapists. Since 1994, our alumni have gone on to college, careers, and successful lives. All students deserve the education that best fits their needs.
