Dr Chaim Neuhoff
School Psychologist
“Each student is unique. We must understand their academic as well as social/emotional profile to custom tailor an approach that will help each student reach their potential.”

Each child is exceptional and has to be looked at as an individual with individual needs. In addition to working as Gesher Yehuda’s School Psychologist, I have an extensive clinical psychology practice here in Brooklyn, working with behavioral issues of children, adolescents, and young adults. There can be social skills related challenges, anxiety, disruptive behaviors, yet in all of it, the child is way more than their diagnosis. At Gesher Yehuda, we take the whole child and their family situation into account.

Besides my private practice and my work at Gesher, I supervise advanced doctoral students at Ferkauf Graduate School at Yeshiva University and write a weekly mental health column for the Yated Neeman newspaper.
