Guidance Counselor
“Education and learning are integral for everything that we do. The importance of learning is universally understood, yet the ability to help a student learn in a way that is best for him/her is a notion that far too often goes unnoticed. We all have inborn potential, yet we don’t always have the proper skills and tools to tap into it. Proper education means giving children that access by having them learn in a way best suited for them.”

I am a Clinical Social Worker based in New York. I have been providing therapy for children and teenagers since graduating from Hunter School of Social Work in 2015.

Since the beginning of my  career, I have been working in the school system, including Yeshiva Darchei Torah, Hebrew Academy of Nassau County, and Magen David Yeshiva. In addition to providing guidance to students, I also ran classroom workshops, provided parental guidance, and helped to coordinate and implement professional development for teachers. I have also previously worked at Interborough Developmental and Counseling Center, and currently work as a clinician at Long Island Counseling and Anxiety Center.

I aim to help children and teenagers tap into their potential and build character through enhancing their strengths, while also learning new skills to increase emotional and social health. I value being a collaborative team player involving parents, teachers, and therapists to best help students achieve their personal goals in their own unique way.
